April Poetry Month Day 18 Poem: Akshaya Sadhana

Today is Akshaya Tritiya. The muhurta of Akshaya Tritiya is considered as propitious for buying gold symbolically as a wish for Akshaya prosperity. Kshaya means loss or decay, Akshaya means something which is beyond any kind of loss. Today's poem is a prayer to my Sadgurudeva H. H. Shri. Narayankaka Dhekane Maharaj for the blessing of Akshaya Sadhana and devotion to it.

This post is the 601st post on Narayankripa. One more milestone in the long journey. Thank you for all the support and unfading love for Narayankripa.

For the ever-lasting gold of Sadhana
on the auspicious Akshay Tritiya
I pray, my Lord Sadgurudeva

The Sadhana which never knows kshaya,
the devotion for Sadhana which can’t have kshaya

Never fading, never decaying Akshaya Sadhana ।। 1।।

Not for any expected or unexpected benefits,
despite all expected and unexpected adversities

Never fading, never decaying Akshaya Sadhana ।। 2।।

Beyond the yogic and mystical experiences,
beyond their absence or presence during the Sadhana
Never fading, never decaying Akshaya Sadhana ।। 3।।

Not for any sainthood or Guruhood,
to become the eternal seeker of Sadhana
Sadhana for the sake of experiencing Sadhana
Never fading, never decaying Akshaya Sadhana ।। 4।।

Beyond the desire of enlightenment
beyond the yoga-siddhi, beyond Bhakti and Mukti
Never fading, never decaying Akshaya Sadhana ।। 5।।

Beyond today’s few tiny steps of Sadhana
and after touching the peaks of Himalaya
Never fading, never decaying Akshaya Sadhana ।। 6।।

Sadhana is the goal and Sadhana is the achievement,
sadhana is the choice and Sadhana is the destiny
Never fading, never decaying Akshaya Sadhana ।। 7।।

Beyond this small life and beyond its death
If anything exists beyond the eternity of time
may it be my Sadhana,
Never fading, never ever decaying Akshaya Sadhana ।। 8।।
