PAD Challenge Day 23 Poem: Worshipper of Knowledge

Today is the day 23 of the PAD challenge and writer’s digest prompt suggestion is to write a historic poem. Today is Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti (birth anniversary). So I decided to write a poem, dedicated to Adi Shankaracharya.

Adi Shankaracharya lived just for 32 years and spread the message of Advaita (non-duality) philosophy. Adi Shankaracharya wrote Prasthan Trai Bhashya of Brahma Sutra, Upanishads and Geeta as well as Sanskrit Hymn to all the forms of Bhagwan like Bhagwan Ram, Krishna, Devi Maa, Vithhala, Saraswati, Lord Shiva. All his work was for the oneness, to end all the differences in the name of ways of worship or faiths.

Adi Shankaracharya was a seer and also a great poet. Today is world book day also. So, what can be a better celebration than a poem dedicated to Adi Shankara!  Jai Jai Shankar Har Har Shankar
