Patriotic Poetry Contest Results

All our days during the Grand Patriotic Poetry Contest by Gurukripa was full in patriotic mood, now time to announce results.

First of all, I am thankful to our very experienced and dedicated to country judges for giving their precious time. They have worked tirelessly to make this event a big success. It was not possible at all to judge all the entries and make all the work related to contest without their great devoted work.

I am thankful to all the participants for the support and their work to write for country. This is inspiration for everybody. While judging it’s of course a great experience. I declared to announce 10 winners. But the really deserving poems and we all agreed on which are 5. So we are announcing 5 winners. Also only some wrote reading the rules carefully and on the theme which was expected, by 'Independent Bharat.'

The entry by Simran Kaur is written by her Grandmother Ms. Swarna Kaur ji. Our special thanks to her by honoring the contest by her poem.

Our purpose to spread patriotism is served by the contest and I am happy for that.

Judging Method:We have taken five parameters into consideration while judging as suggested by Vinayak Ranade Sir. They are Theme, Wording, Rhythm, Feelings and Presentation. All five judges have done judgement independently and finally we have integrated the results to choose the winners.

Our Judges are saying  something about contest,

Vinayak Ranade Sir: My hearty congratulation on this event for every individual who helped to make this event interesting. I always deal with specifications. Wrong specs wrong results. It seems this competition did not specify any such specs and boundaries, which allowed the poet to use most respected term "freedom of expression”. I also used my freedom of selection which may cause arguments. It is my suggestion that always specify specs when you expect results. I use Term specify Input and Output then it is easy to select a winner without much bad faces. These feelings I experienced for last 50 years. My experience is very painful even today.

Shri Ram Ayyangar Sir: Thank you Mohini for giving me the opportunity to judge the poems for the first time even though basically I am Social and Political Satire Writer. I wish each and every participants good luck who have made this competition a grand success and lively interaction with other judges in formulating the methodology for selection.

Geeta Singh: I was so proud to Judge this Gurukripa: Grand Patriotic Poetry Contest... Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest and is so proud to have such an amazing participants who spotlighted our mission throughout... (Loud and prolonged applause.)

Saravana Kumar Murugan: Being a poet by love, I was proud to judge the contest, “Gurukripa: Grand Patriotic Poetry Contest”. It is first time I had an opportunity to judge a contest; I thank Mohinee for the sweetness. It is great experience to judge such wonderful entries. Thanks to everyone who made this contest a great success. Special thanks for Judges who made judging very easy and lively. I heartily congratulate all the five winners and special thanks to Ms. Swarna Kurji grand ma for her inspiring entry.

Mohini Puranik: This contest is really a grand contest and grand success. Everybody joined for one word, that is our religion, our worship, our faith and it is our 'Bharat'. I have lots of expectations from you all. Keep the dedicated work for the country.

Our Hearty Congratulations to all the winners,
